Dr. Fikadu Mitiku, the president of Arsi University, announced that the exam, which ran from June 23 to July 08, 2018 E.C., had wrapped up. He sincerely thanked everyone who helped make sure the national assessment went smoothly and peacefully.


Dr. Fikadu specifically thanked the Federal Ministry of Education and the National Educational Assessment and Examinations Agency (NEAEA). He also gave credit to the Arsi University leadership and the Examination Command Post Committee, as well as the Logistic and Facility Departments, for their hard work and support during the exam.
The president also extended his thanks to the federal and university security staff, the Asella City Administration, and Ethiotelecom (Asella District.) He also acknowledged the Ethiopian Electric Utility, specifically the Asella No. 1 and Asella No. 2 branches, for keeping essential services running during the exams.


Dr. Fikadu further appreciated the efforts of the education offices at the regional, zonal, and woreda levels, as well as the hotels in Asella and the student service offices. He pointed out that they were very important in keeping things peaceful, organized, and well-coordinated throughout the exam sessions.
Arsi University praised all the groups involved for working together and staying committed. They noted that these joint efforts were crucial for successfully finishing the 2018 E.C. Grade 12 National Examination at the university.
