A delegation of Serbian professors from the Academy of Applied Preschool Teaching and Health Studies at Krusevac has been visiting Arsi University. The delegates, led by Professor Nevenka Mihajlovic, were received at the university by senior officials.
On the first day, the visiting team received a brief overview of Arsi University from Dr. Mustefa Bati, Vice President for Academic Affairs, together with other members of the university management.



The delegation then proceeded to the Asella Town Mayor’s Office, where officials briefed them on the town’s historical background, existing facilities, and future plans. Following this, the team visited one of the town’s ancient churches.
Later, the day concluded with a visit to the College of Agriculture and Environmental Science facilities, where the delegates toured development initiatives such as the wheat production farm and other related activities.
On the second day, the delegation began their visit at the main campus, observing key facilities including classrooms, the library, ICT infrastructure, and the Indigenous Knowledge Development and Promotion Center, which impressed the delegates greatly.
They then moved to the College of Health Sciences, where they exchanged experiences and toured several health-related facilities, including laboratories and the MCH unit. The delegates also visited the first instance and higher courts in Asella Town to learn about how the university engages with relevant stakeholders.
Finally, the delegation visited the College of Social Science and Humanities at the Bokoji campus, where staff provided a warm welcome. The visitors received a brief introduction to the college and toured its facilities.
The visit provided an opportunity for meaningful academic and institutional exchange between Arsi University and the visiting Serbian team, highlighting collaboration and shared learning in education, health sciences, and community engagement.
