A fruitful discussion is held between Edukans Foundation Ethiopia (an international NGO based at Amersfoort, the Netherlands and a local office in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.), and the top management of Arsi University. Mr. Addis Kebede, a delegate from Edukans Foundation, emphasized the organization’s vision and mission and the previous collaboration with CoBE. He highlighted potential areas for collaboration, including training programs, research initiatives, and incubating startups. Dr. Hailu Fikadu, Vice President for Research and Community Services at Arsi University, expressed appreciation for Edukans’ efforts and welcomed the opportunity for partnership.
Concluding the discussion, Dr. Fikadu Mitiku, President of Arsi University, underscored the significance of such collaborations, noting that Arsi University is a university of applied sciences. The meeting was facilitated by Dr. Mesele Kumilachew, Dean of the College of Business and Economics, and his team. Both parties expressed enthusiasm about the prospective partnership and agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalize and strengthen the collaboration in the near future.
