Arsi University, College of Health Science CPD Center

Arsi University College of Health Science In-service Training (IST) center was established in the year 2015 G.C fulfilling human and infrastructure requirements set in the Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH) national in-service training directive and implementation guide. Since its establishment, the center has been providing training on different health and health-related in –services trainings, workshops, forums and related agendas for Health Workforces of different categories for wider regions of Oromia and beyond.
As clearly stated in the national Continuing Professionals Development (CPD) directives and guidelines, there is a high need for continuous professional development to maintain professional competence in an environment of numerous challenges, rapid organizational changes, information technology, increasing public expectations and demands for quality and greater accountability in the delivery of health services.
