Arsi University Signs MoU with Horizen Plantation PLC

Arsi University has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Horizen Plantation PLC, which operates the Sheger Bread and Flour Factory. This partnership aims to foster collaboration in several key areas, including joint research, capacity building training, innovation and technology transfer, process optimization, and technical support.
The MoU was announced during an event attended by delegates from Horizen Plantation PLC and Arsi University. In his welcoming speech, Dr. Fikadu Mitiku, President of Arsi University, highlighted the potential areas of cooperation and expressed gratitude to the university’s industry linkage team for their efforts in making this agreement a reality.
Mr. Hailu Bulbula, Deputy Manager of Horizen Plantation PLC, emphasized the importance of this collaboration, stating that partnering with an esteemed institution like Arsi University will significantly contribute to their operational goals and enhance their capabilities in the industry.
