Arsi University participated in the mid-term meeting of STREAMING Project (Sustainable Trade Regimes with Europe and Africa through Mapping Innovation, New Technology, and Growth Mindset), held in Djerba, Tunisia, and hosted by Gabes University from May 4–5, 2026.

The event brought together over 35 participants from 15 institutions across different countries to review progress, exchange knowledge, and strengthen collaboration. Representing Arsi University, Mr. Sisay Yefru, Project Coordinator, presented the university’s achievements and ongoing activities under the project, highlighting its commitment to innovation, partnership, and sustainable development.
The meeting enhanced cooperation among partners, offered important networking opportunities, and provided valuable experiences for better achievement of the remaining project activities. Arsi University also extends its sincere appreciation to Gabes University for the excellent organization of the event, as well as to the people of Tunisia for their warm hospitality. Arsi University is proud to be part of this impactful initiative and remains committed to contributing meaningfully to the objectives of the STREAMING Project
