Arsi University hosted an on-site review of the MAINSTREAM mobility project on 24 February 2026, welcoming two professors from European Education and Culture Executive Agency under the Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme (MOBAF 2023).
The review was conducted by Prof. Huba Boshoff, an international higher education expert, and Prof. Patricio Langa, Chair of the African Consortium of Higher Education Researchers. The visit assessed project progress, institutional performance, governance, and student engagement.
University leadership, directors, deans, and the Institutional Coordinator presented achievements and future plans. The program featured presentations, dialogue sessions, and facility visits, with mobility students from Kenya and Togo joining virtually to share their experiences.
The professors commended the University’s strong institutional capacity and commitment to quality international mobility, offering recommendations to further strengthen sustainability and partnership collaboration in the next phase of MAINSTREAM Project.
