Arsi University held a colorful graduation ceremony to celebrate the successful completion of studies by 1,016 graduates across different undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
In his remark, Dr. Fikadu Mitiku, President of Arsi University, congratulated the graduates for reaching what he described as a historical milestone. He urged the new alumni to serve their community using their heart, skills, and commitment, emphasizing that the university’s mission continues beyond graduation.









Delivering the key message and serving as guest of honor, Dr. Eba Mijena, Chief Executive Director of Academic Affairs at the Federal Ministry of Education, acknowledged the efforts of the university community for the pivotal roles they played in preparing today’s graduates. He also encouraged the graduates to contribute their knowledge and skills to national development and to actively participate in solving national issues.
The graduation ceremony featured higher officials, members of the university Senate, and the families of the graduates, creating a festive and meaningful atmosphere for the occasion. Among the 1,016 graduates, 108 hold the qualification of medical doctors.
