Arsi University Celebrates Colorful Graduation Ceremony

Arsi University proudly graduated over 1,200 students in both first and second degrees during a vibrant ceremony attended by high-level officials from the federal government, regional authorities, and the Asella town administration.
Dr. Fikadu Mitiku, President of Arsi University, delivered a heartfelt congratulatory message, urging graduates to create job opportunities in their respective fields. He emphasized the importance of contributing not only to their own livelihoods but also to the nation’s development.
The guest of honor, H.E. Dr. Sofia Kassa, State Minister for the Ministry of Agriculture and Chairperson of the Arsi University Managing Board, addressed the graduates with an inspiring speech. She highlighted the critical need for educated citizens in the country and encouraged graduates to respond to the calls of their communities and nation.
The ceremony was marked by vibrant displays of colleges’ spirit, with graduates donning colorful caps and gowns, celebrating their achievements and the bright futures ahead of them.
